Swedish/Edmonds, located in Edmonds, WA, is looking for volunteer teams to visit their patients. 

Teams must be registered with a therapy organization that meets specific criteria.

No prior visiting experience is required.  The patient population is primarily adult and geriatric.  Teams receive the hospital training needed and ongoing support to successfully visit with the patients, visiting family and friends, and staff.

Teams are needed 7 days per week.  For those who work during the day, Monday - Friday, evening and weekend shifts are available.

Providence Everett Medical Center - Pacific campus

Providence Everett Medical Center – Pacific campus (PEMC) is looking for dog teams who are registered with the Pet Partners® organization.

PEMC – Pacific campus is located at 916 Pacific Ave,  in Everett, Washington, on the corner of Pacific and Nassau Street.

The animal teams will be visiting patients on our Rehabilitation Unit, located on the second floor. It is a 19 bed unit.

The unit provides services to adults with a variety of diagnoses: strokes, Traumatic Brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and a variety of medical conditions.  

We provide Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Language Pathology and Therapeutic Recreational therapy services.

Teams will be visiting with their dog for 2 hours, maximum, 1 day a week.  We are flexible on the day of the week to visit.
